David Minetti

David Minetti was born in 1973 in Turin, where he obtained 1st prize at the “G.Verdi” Conservatory of Music. Since 1996, he has held the position of principal clarinet in the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse. As a soloist, he was able to perform under the direction of T. Sokhiev, M. Plasson, Ph. Jordan, E. Leducq-Barome, H. Leenders, F. Karoui, T. Rosner, A. Van Beek… He has collaborated with Michel Dalberto, Michel Michalakakos, David Bismuth, Michel Lethiec … He is regularly invited to concerts in Madrid, Tokyo, Paris, Warsaw…, he is a Rico artist and he plays on Selmer clarinets. Toulouse composer Thierry Huillet dedicated the solo piece “clarinet” to him. He has also given masterclasses at the University of Rio de Janeiro, the Superior Conservatory of Music in Buenos Aires, the University of Warsaw, etc.

Since 2006, he has collaborated with the isdaT for the training of students in the DNSPM course. David Minetti specifically teaches on the “Preparation for a profession in the orchestra” option, and also conducts the wind orchestra.
