Pedagogy option
The pedagogy option offers students with a strong interest in teaching and a proven level as an instrumentalist the possibility of following the double curriculum: DE de professeur de musique + DNSPM.
Admission to the DE program takes place at the end of the first year of the DNSPM program, following an internal competitive examination. This consists of an oral interview in which the jury focuses on the student’s motivation, their ability to engage in critical thinking, and their openness to different teaching practices.
Programme specifications
Several elements of the “Performing Artist” option are also found in this curriculum, but the professional internships are, for the most part, carried out in the context of a specialised teaching institution.
In addition, the objectives of the DE require pedagogical dimensions to be taken into account in the personal artistic project. The student can thus obtain both the DE and DNSPM diplomas in 4 years.
