Gabrielle Zaneboni

Gabrielle Zaneboni first began playing the oboe in her hometown of Grenoble. In 2001, after obtaining a prize in Jacques Huert’s class, she joined the Paris CRR with Jean-Claude Jaboulay. She was unanimously awarded 1st prize in 2003 and received a higher diploma in 2006. She thereafter entered the CNSMD de Paris as a student of Jacques Tys. In 2009, she participated in an Erasmus exchange in Karlsruhe where she joined the class of Thomas Indermühe. In 2010, she obtained the DFS with distinction and joined the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse under the baton of Tugan Sokhiev as principal English horn. Passionate about the orchestra, she plays occasionally with the Orchestre Philharmonic de Radio France , the Orchestre de Paris and the Orchestre National de France .

Gabrielle Zaneboni teaches the English horn as part of the “Preparation for a profession in the orchestra” option.
