After a brilliant course at the CNSMD in Paris, Jacques Deleplancque held the position of principal horn in the following orchestras: Colonne, National de Lille, Ensemble Intercontemporain and National de France. Since 1995, he has been a soloist of the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse under the direction of Tugan Sokhiev. Passionate about pedagogy, he teaches in various national conservatories in the Paris region. Since 2007, he has been a professor of the horn and a member of the teaching team for CA training at the CNSMD in Paris. His career is marked by several recordings recognized by critics of the musical world (Diapason d’or).
As part of the “Preparation for a profession in the orchestra” option, Jacques Deleplancque and Hervé Lupano offer occasional lectures.
Hervé Lupano is a soloist with the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse and began playing the horn at the age of 9. In 1995, Hervé Lupano was unanimously awarded 1st prize at the CNSMD in Paris. In 1998, he was chosen by Michel Plasson as soloist in the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse. His musical journey has led him to perform with Valery Gergiev, Pierre Boulez, Semyon Bychkov, Yo-Yo Ma, Mstislav Rostropovitch, J.-P. Rampal, Jerzy Semkow… within prestigious groups, such as the Orchestre de Paris, the Orchestre National de France, the Opéra de Paris, the Bayerische Kammerphilharmonie in Munich, as well as the Academy of St Martin-in-the-Fields. His taste for teaching was instilled in him by his teachers: André Cazalet, Froydis Ree Wekre, Radovan Vlatkovic, Jean-Michel Vinit, Michel Cantin. He has taken part in numerous recordings devoted to the works of Manuel Rosenthal, Pascal Dusapin, Jules Massenet. He also recorded under the baton of Michel Plasson and Tugan Sokhiev.
