Workshop ouvert aux \u00e9tudiants en ann\u00e9es 3 \u00e0 5 option design graphique ayant\u00a0suivi les cours ann\u00e9es 2 et 3 avec Fran\u00e7ois Chastanet (Dessin de lettres I, II & III). Possible d\u00e9rogation pour \u00e9tudiants entr\u00e9s sur \u00e9quivalence avec ma\u00eetrise dessin vectoriel suffisante.<\/strong><\/p>\n

En partenariat avec l\u2019Atelier National de Recherche Typographique<\/a> (ANRT Nancy) et la Biblioth\u00e8que d’\u00c9tude et du Patrimoine de la Ville de Toulouse.<\/p>\n

L\u2019objectif du workshop consiste \u00e0 analyser et redessiner une des toutes premi\u00e8res fontes con\u00e7ues \u00e0 Toulouse (1480, Johann Parix). Elle se caract\u00e9rise par un dessin transitoire, avec notamment un double jeu de capitales in\u00e9dit gothiques et romaines que l\u2019imprimeur utilisait au sein d\u2019un m\u00eame texte. Le workshop d\u00e9butera avec une visite \u00e0 la Biblioth\u00e8que d\u2019\u00c9tude et du Patrimoine de Toulouse o\u00f9 deux incunables de Parix seront \u00e9tudi\u00e9es. Il se poursuivra \u00e0 l\u2019isdaT beaux-arts avec une phase de dessin analogique puis num\u00e9rique.<\/p>\n

Le workshop fait partie du programme de recherche “Gotico-Antiqua” de l\u2019Atelier National de Recherche Typographique (ANRT Nancy), des ateliers ont \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9s \u00e0 Mulhouse, Valence, Mayence, Sarrebruck et Lyon. J\u00e9r\u00f4me Knebusch, coordinateur du projet, donnera une conf\u00e9rence publique situant le contexte historique global de la recherche et pr\u00e9sentera les r\u00e9sultats du workshop \u00e0 la Biblioth\u00e8que d’\u00c9tude et du Patrimoine dont les repr\u00e9sentants proposeront eux un aper\u00e7u historique sp\u00e9cifique sur les d\u00e9buts de l\u2019imprimerie \u00e0 Toulouse.<\/p>\n

J\u00e9r\u00f4me Knebusch<\/strong> travaille dans les champs des arts plastiques, du design graphique, du design \u00e9ditorial, de la typographie et du dessin de caract\u00e8res. Il enseigne \u00e0 l\u2019\u00c9cole Sup\u00e9rieure d\u2019Art de Lorraine<\/a> \u00e0 Metz et \u00e0 l\u2019Atelier National de Recherche Typographique \u00e0 Nancy, o\u00f9 il coordonne le programme de recherche “Gotico-Antiqua”.<\/p>\n

Depuis la fin de ses \u00e9tudes aux Beaux-Arts de Besan\u00e7on et de Madrid, puis \u00e0 l\u2019Atelier National de Recherche Typographique (2001 \u2013 2002), Thomas Huot-Marchand<\/strong> (1976) partage son temps entre l\u2019enseignement, la cr\u00e9ation de caract\u00e8res typographiques et le design graphique. Apr\u00e8s avoir enseign\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019Institut Sup\u00e9rieur des Beaux-Arts de Besan\u00e7on<\/a> et \u00e0 l\u2019\u00c9cole d\u2019Art et de Design d\u2019Amiens<\/a> (2002 \u2013 2011), il a \u00e9t\u00e9 nomm\u00e9 en 2012 \u00e0 la direction de l\u2019Atelier National de Recherche Typographique, \u00e0 Nancy. Laur\u00e9at du fonds d\u2019incitation \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation (Fiacre) en 2003, il a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 pensionnaire \u00e0 l\u2019Acad\u00e9mie de France \u00e0 Rome \/ Villa M\u00e9dicis en 2006 \u2013 2007. Le Minuscule<\/a>, un caract\u00e8re qu\u2019il a dessin\u00e9 pour les tr\u00e8s petits corps, a re\u00e7u de nombreux prix internationaux (Type Directors Club de New-York, Favorite Typefaces of 2007), et a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9sign\u00e9 comme l\u2019une des “Ten Typefaces of The Decade” (Imprint).
