La France de l\u2019apr\u00e8s-guerre voit na\u00eetre une profession nouvelle, celle de coloriste-conseil port\u00e9e par trois pionniers, Georges Patrix, Jacques Fillacier et Bernard Lassus. Jean-Philippe Lenclos, issu de la seconde g\u00e9n\u00e9ration des coloristes, d\u00e9bute sa carri\u00e8re comme directeur artistique des Peintures Gauthier, pour lesquelles il d\u00e9veloppe le concept de G\u00e9ographie de la couleur qu\u2019il appliquera \u00e0 partir de 1975 dans sa propre agence, l\u2019Atelier 3D Couleur<\/a>. Produits industriels, graphisme, architecture et urbanisme sont ses principaux domaines d\u2019intervention. Il est le premier \u00e0 cr\u00e9er des d\u00e9partement de couleurs dans les entreprises, comme le prouve sa longue exp\u00e9rience chez Renault ou bien chez Seb pour le petit \u00e9lectro-m\u00e9nager. Dans le domaine de l\u2019architecture et de l\u2019industrie, apr\u00e8s avoir propos\u00e9 des projets ponctuels inspir\u00e9s du supergraphisme de Barbara Stauffacher, il d\u00e9veloppe toute une r\u00e9flexion autour des secteurs sauvegard\u00e9s et des sch\u00e9mas directeurs de couleurs.<\/p>\n

Coloriste mondialement connu et reconnu, les m\u00e9thodes de Jean-Philippe Lenclos, par ailleurs professeurs pendant pr\u00e8s de trente ann\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019EnsAD<\/a>, sont d\u00e9sormais enseign\u00e9es et appliqu\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019international, notamment en Asie.<\/p>\n

Architecte DPLG, Docteur en Histoire de l\u2019art, Clo\u00e9 Pitiot<\/b> fut pendant huit ans illustratrice de carnets de voyage. En 2010, elle devient conservateur au Centre Pompidou<\/a> o\u00f9 elle fait entrer en collection tous les fonds concernant le sujet de ses recherches et de sa th\u00e8se sur “Jean-Philippe Lenclos” et plus largement sur les coloristes conseils.
